Loved reading this. I relate so much. But I haven't found my thing yet! So you gave me some hope that maybe I am STILL on the path to somewhere and not just wandering around the woods aimlessly.

Sigrid, I really enjoyed reading this post. I myself stuck with the “tried and true” traditional degree path, but I can still really relate to your DIY approach, and in fact reading about it satisfies the self-directive rebel in me. Closest I got to what you’ve done is to take a number of college electives like “celestial navigation,” just for the fun of it. Creativity can best be expressed when you are being you- following your intuition and letting your creative impulses lead you on your journey, implicitly trusting them. Your writing is beautiful. Your humor exquisite.

Very interesting tale of your journey to where you are today. I know there will be more chapters and look forward to seeing where you go next.
Such a beautiful piece! Loved this story, so much felt, and the ending will be sticking with me for a long
time, to admire something once hated ❤️
